Outlaw Recordings was formed in the first months of the new millennium, in January of 2000. I started the label for one single reason: to put out things that I feel need to be preserved and shared.

There is a lot of great music out there which has come close to or just plain gotten lost in the vaults of time...but that's where Outlaw Recordings comes in as far as the reissue stuff goes. This may mean putting a cassette only demo to vinyl, or pulling out a classic album, and putting it onto a new format.

As for releases of newer material, there are many of these available too and in the works. Not everything good came out 10 or 20 years ago - though sometimes it seems like it! There's a lot of great current stuff out there! You will be seeing a mix of older and new material from a wide variety of musicians and performers in the future.
